You are SO correct. I am losing my mind with my Dell. By the way, dont laugh, I just found the "eject" button because of your blog (thanks)- but, lol, it is NOT working, as you stated. I had previously been right clicking on my computer, etc to open...ridiculous...
Anyway, my issue is that I have found that DellDock and my wireless Dell printer can no longer co-exist peacefully. 2 weeks ago, I switched internet providers and I couldnt find my installation cd for my printer so I needed some help getting the printer to work wirelessly...since then, (and about 6 hours of tech support later- no exaggeration), I have lost the Dell Dock twice, gotten it back once in between, lost the use of several keyboard keys, lost the use of my printer and gotten some of it back - printer, copier (not scanner), and now I have no Dell Dock (no recycle bin), all in one is working, but drive eject key, battery key, and caps lock key do not work....Dell tech support seems clueless, and it takes them HOURS to "help" me and then afterwards I find more problems....I am really about to give up.

Good spodding.

Weird to think that there are now comfortably more crap seasons than good/watchable ones.

Whether or not they make the rest of the episode better or not, these TV sub shows are really brilliant! My favourites are the Eye on Springfield's (particularly the one showing the zoo animals walking into Krusty Burger) and McBain, although the funniest ones were mainly in the first three or four season's. (My favourite was Mendozaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!).

It's weird that I find so many of these pop culture references funny, saying as I was only a kid during The Simpsons' heyday, and many are US specific. Many I'm completely missing the meaning but laughing anyway?!

And, although I can't exactly draw a graph in the comments, my take on the rise and fall of Simpsons is something like this, with 5 as average and 10 as perfect, and just imagine a line of best fit:

Season 1: _____6
Season 2: _______8
Season 3: ________9
Season 4: ________9
Season 5: _______8
Season 6: _______8
Season 7: _____6
Season 8: ______7
Season 9: _____6

And everything after this point is crap, save for the occasional inspired episode

A resume is only effective if it helps you get a job interview. A good resume sells you to potential employers by highlighting your strengths and achievements and your ability to carry out a job effectively.

Heh, yeah, I've just corrected the Brazil scoreline as it's been corrected elsewhere as well - for some reason I was getting mixed up ;-)

The '98 version for me is every bit as important as the original. Funnily enough I loathed the Jonathan Pearce commentary at the time, but I've heard it so often listening to this song that to watch Southgate take that penalty without hearing Pearce say "The whole of England is with you" now feels wrong. Baddiel's vocal is dreadful, yet some how quite endearing. Also it's a World Cup song, as amazing as Euro 96 was there's something that extra-bit special about a world cup campaign.

I never found Pearce annoying, much like the song it was the way his national pride was absorbed by the boozing masses that I found distasteful. As for the dated Ince, Gazza, Shearer lines. In Baddiel and Skinner's defence, the lyrics had been written in the spring when all three had looked certainties for the squad. I remember to this day being sat in my parents car listening to the Radio 1 Breakfast show awaiting the debut play of the 98 Version. I think it was the day after the squad had been announced and Frank Skinner in particular was dejected about the exclusion of Pearce and Gazza.

The sequel also had a couple of other things going for it 1) The video is great, arguably better than that of the original and 2) It had a proper b-side, the sublime 'Tout Est Possible'.

p.s You might remember that tackle by Moore, but you've forgotten when Jairzinho scored - Brazil won the game 1-0.

Based on your review, I've added 'The King of Kong' to my Lovefilm rental list. And in return, can I recommend (if you haven't seen it already), Andrea Arnold's 'Fish Tank', which won the Cannes Jury Prize, and the BAFTA for Best British Film 2010. Doesn't really have much plot, as such, but it's still well worth a watch.

Oh, yeah - I know it doesn't force the suggestions on you, I just don't see it as all that useful (for myself, I'm sure it is to some), as my attitude is that if there's someone I email who isn't an FB friend, there's probably a reason for that already (but that's because I tend to go to the trouble of *looking* for people I want to friend on there).
